About The Retreat

Our non-gated community is considered to be one of the most desirable in Martin County. The Retreat at Seabranch was acknowledged as a Community of Excellence in an article for the December 2009 issue of the Florida Community Association Journal.

The Retreat at Seabranch is a 555-home community surrounded by Martin County’s beautiful 4,886-acre Atlantic Ridge Preserve State Park. Our 312 2-bedroom Capris, 178 3-bedroom Oakmonts, and 65 4-bedroom Carlyle DiVosta-built homes are nestled amid ten stocked lakes and seven wetlands. Our homes benefit from DiVosta's poured reinforced concrete construction which has survived the direct hit hurricanes of 2004 with little or no building damage, and recently Hurricane Matthew with just minimal foliage damage.

The Association

Homeowners are Members in the Retreat at Seabranch Homeowners Association, which is managed by a five-person Board of Directors who are elected by the membership for two-year terms. The day-to-day management is contracted to Advantage Property Management, located in Stuart Florida. Prudent oversight has resulted in a position of strong financial reserves and stable HOA fees. We retain outside professional legal, financial, and engineering consultants.

Activities

Our amenities include a beautiful, large community swimming pool with adjacent clubhouse, a well-equipped exercise facility, and four tennis/pickleball courts. The Retreat is adjacent to a semi-private, non-equity club that offers golf and social memberships.

The Retreat Women's Club actively supports numerous local charities and provides a variety of opportunities for women to welcome new residents, make new friends, and share field trips and lunches together. Our Retreat Assistance Network (RAN) provides peer assistance and support to any resident in need of help due to health, sickness, or necessity. Other groups include Duplicate Bridge, Mah Jongg, Pickleball, Poker, Red Hat Society, and an active knitting group.

The Region

Adjacent communities in Stuart and Palm Beach County provide excellent medical facilities, shopping, performing arts theaters, and restaurants. Spectacular Atlantic beaches along the Treasure Coast, the Indian River Lagoon, the renowned Jonathan Dickinson State Park and other state parks are within easy reach. International airports are within quick access.

The Beautiful Surrounding Preserve
